Aurium’s Hamish McPherson Appointed Chairman of the Renewable Energy Association Bioenergy (Waste to Energy) Group

Congratulations to Hamish on his appointment as Chairman of the Renewable Energy Association Bioenergy (Waste to Energy) Group.

The REA was established in 2001 as a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK.  The REA helps build commercially and environmentally sustainable businesses whilst increasing the contribution of renewable energy to the UK’s electricity, heat, transport and green gas needs.  The Waste To Energy Group’s focus is to promote and remove barriers to deployment of bioenergy technologies, thereby furthering the energy from waste sector.

Through this prestigious role, Hamish has a unique opportunity to shape the group’s direction and strategic aims.
